Yes, we survived January! The traditional winter months are dark, the days are short and often filled with now. Luckily we have escaped the massive snow fall this year so far (fingers crossed!), but I’m truly looking forward to the months ahead of us – I can’t wait for longer and brighter days, warmer temperatures outside, and nothing feels better than enjoying the first cup of coffee outside, without your jacket on.. ☀️☕️😍 Spring can’t come soon enough! But in the meantime..
Here’s things I ‘m looking forward to in February;
A weekend in Oslo with good friends; I came home yesterday after spending a weekend in Oslo with my girlfriends, and we had so much fun celebrating my friends birthday! I also managed to squeeze in some much needed quality time with another good friend I haven’t seen in ages. We met in 2007 when we both moved to the U.S. to work as nanny’s and despite living in different states, we became really good friends and manage to keep in contact. We sat outside in fresh air, enjoys delicious coffees and just chatted.. Seeing her this weekend was the best! ♥
Create a photo wall in our hallway; in an attempt to make our apartment more personal I’ve decided to create a photo wall displaying pictures of our friends and family in our hallway. It’s an easy and fun way to decorate a room and it doesn’t have to be expensive either. My next mission is to find and buy some frames, select what pictures to hang, and figure out if I’m gonna do color or black/white pictures. Stay tuned!
So something fun for Valentines Day; I’ve never made a big deal out of Valentines Day, but it’s still something magical about doing something nice with the person dear to your heart. This year I want to go on a date night with my husband, enjoy a nice dinner and have a good time together.
Read more books; this shouldn’t be a problem since I have lots of unread books just waiting to be picked up! Without setting a specific goal, I would like to read at least two new books and if you guys are interested in book recommendations, I would be happy to write a couple of book reviews?
Sell at least 5 things I no longer use; After committing to the “Sell 100 things in 2020” challenge, my goal is to sell at least 5 things in February. I sold 13 items in January, so I’m definitely on a good track here. It feels good to see some progress, I’m cleaning out my home and making money at the same time!
Do you have any fun plans for February? 🙂
