50 ways to be a healthier & happier person

It’s generally a universal goal that most of us strive to be happy and healthy. The year of 2020 has been hard on many levels and not what I anticipated at all, I therefore decided to focus on how I can make 2021 a better year. There are a number of small things you can do that will make an big impact on your overall well-being and I have figured out what I need to focus on in order to live my best life, both mentally and physically!

These are the things I choose to focus on in order to live my best life;

1. Set yourself small achievable goals
2. Avoid screen time in the morning
3. Start your day with a nutritious breakfast
4. Meditate in the morning
5. Compliment yourself
6. Get enough sleep
7. Cut out negative people
8. Surround yourself with positive people
9. Reward yourself more often
10. Plan your meals
11. Snack wisely
12. Stop comparing yourself to others
13. Make time to relax
14. Start exercising (and find fun activities you enjoy!)
15. Get a workout buddy
16. Try a new workout class
17. Embrace setbacks
18. Ban all electronics in bed
19. Learn something new
20. Solve crossword puzzles
21. Learn to say no
22. Allow yourself to be sad
23. Stop procrastinating
24. Perform Random Acts of Kindness
25. Smile at people more
26. Eat more fruit and vegetables
27. Don’t be afraid asking for help
28. Get a good pair of workout shoes
29. Buy yourself some nice workout clothes
30. Aim for 10,000 steps a day
31. Go for a walk outside in fresh air everyday
32. Make an awesome playlist
33. Set yourself a challenge
34. Keep it simple
35. Focus on how far you have come
36. Don’t obsessively weigh yourself
37. Keep your hands clean
38. Aim for half your plate filled with greens

  1. This is an awesome list! I’m focusing on meditating and yoga. I would like to practice that every day, but I’m slowly going to introduce myself, so I can start forming the habit. I’m excited! πŸ™‚
