Starting the new year outside!

Happy new year everyone! πŸ€©πŸŽ‡πŸ₯‚πŸ₯°πŸ₯³

January is finally here! It’s not that I’m a huge fan of January per se (I don’t really favor the cold weather and temperatures), but I’m exited for the new year ahead of me and the opportunity to start with a clean slate and make some new history. God knows we need that after the year we’ve all had! After a hectic December month consisting of work + transferring into a new job as well, I’m enjoying a much needed extra long weekend off! πŸ™‚
This morning I started my day with a long walk outside in fresh air. With an demanding everyday schedule, one of my main goals for the new year is to spend more time outside. It’s no secret that exercise is an important part of life, especially for adults who often sit behind a desk all day , which makes it even more important to get outside! Being outside is not only good for the mind, body and soul, but has many other great benefits;

β™₯ Increased vitamin D (if sun is up, head outside!)
β™₯ Stress reduction
β™₯ Lower blood pressure and heart rate

β™₯ Boost your overall immune system
